Job summary
Are you enthusiastic with good organisational and decision-making skills? Can you communicate at all levels and cope well under pressure? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant Receptionist at the Medical Centre in Hamworthy Barracks, and we would love to hear from you!
This position offers 37 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly and or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs. Please note the salary will be pro-rata where part time hours are undertaken.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivering medical facility reception functions and administration support to all clinicians as directed by the practice manager and under the supervision of the Administrative Officer (AO).
- Utilising interpersonal skills to act as the initial point of contact for patients and/or accompanying relatives and other visitors to the medical facility.
- Liaising with patients, Medical Officers and other medical treatment facilities to ensure correct patient contact details and dealing with any queries.

Selection process details
There will be no reimbursement for any travel expenses for the interview.
All employees joining Ministry of Defence who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a 6-month probation period (unless otherwise advised) effective from the employment start date.
