JOB SUMMARY

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
  • Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
  • Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
  • Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
  • To practice gracious hospitality and promote goodwill by being friendly, engaging, courteous and helpful to guests, managers and fellow associates at all times.
  • Be familiar with local area and the outlets of the hotel to help create unique moments by giving your personal recommendations.
  • Develop a basic knowledge of the Marsha reservation system.
  • Focus on the processing payments via people soft, Birch Street and hot shop.
  • Assist the management team with uploading the team schedule in Kronos
  • Ensuring that the budget & check book are updated properly
  • Managing expenses for all senior management
  • Close contact with the financial department of the hotel to ensure no outstanding inquiries exists
  • Assist the Rooms Controller and At Your Service agents.
  • Review Guest Voice and assist in evaluating the responses.
