We are looking for strong administrators to join M&S on a fixed term basis until December 2023
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved specifically in the Clothing Supply chain traceability Project team, working with a cross functional team incorporating product owners, IT, fabric and sustainability team, and sourcing offices. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about project management and product. Key to the role will be understanding the sustainability strategy and traceability strategy, communicating clearly key dates and timeframes, driving the mapping of the lower tiers of the supply chain. This role will play a critical part in helping the business deliver the net zero strategy, with the ideal candidate being inspiring change within the supply base.
The scope of the role is to support the traceability of the product, working in various data systems this will involve contacting suppliers, sourcing teams and capturing and analysing data for M&S.
Key accountabilities:
- Mapping supplier’s connections across the different parts of the supply chain
- Support Sustainability team in getting clear view of supplier relationships and raw material journey
- Manage set critical path of project plan
- Resolve queries and issues for partners.
- Deliver project reporting.
- Clear and proactive communications with all partners to capture relevant data
Key skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with partners of all levels
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent organisation & time management skills with attention to detail
- Be curious and have a problem solving approach
- Pro-active, self-motivated, logical
- Good at meeting facilitation
- Ideally has some Project Management related experience but not crucial
