The Manchester Speech and Language Therapy Service is committed to providing a high-quality service to children and families across the city of Manchester.
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join the Sure Start Team.
You will play a vital role supporting therapists. Duties will include coordinating training, referral management, typing, supporting clinicians in managing patient groups, liaising with clinicians/professionals across other services, activity reporting to commissioners.
This is an opening for an enthusiastic and confident individual who enjoys
communicating with others and utilising their excellent organisation and administrative skills.
We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude, who is team focused and wants to learn and get involved. You will need to have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and very good IT skills.
You will be working as part of a very supportive team of Speech and Language Therapists and Language Development Workers who work alongside partners across the city to deliver the Communication and Language Pathway to support children’s early
language development.
To provide a comprehensive administrative support service to the Communication and Language pathway team.
The role is based at Wythenshawe. However, there may be occasions when visits to other bases across the city may be needed to support team events.
This post is for 12 months fixed term – 22.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Alternative patterns may be considered.

Salary scale Band 3 £21,730 - £23,177 pro rata
