Job description
An experienced Export Administrator proficient in export documentation, logistics requirements and compliance. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to deliver a smooth export operation. Ability to work effectively in a busy environment and maintain excellent communication with colleagues in the UK and around the world.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Organise shipments and transportation for international projects.
- Retrieve shipping quotations from suppliers.
- Create export purchase orders.
- Process export orders.
- Administration of all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, letters of credit documents.
- Support with producing quotations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all departments.
- Collate project information to complete Operations and Maintenance Manuals.
- Support with travel and accommodation bookings.
- Other general administrative activities as required to support the export and home markets.
Skills, Experience & Certifications
- High level of accuracy when completing work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a busy and time-sensitive environment.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office and PDF creator software).
- Quick to learn and use other software and systems.
