Gweek Classic Boatyard is a historic yacht restoration and storage yard located in the upper reaches of the Helford River. We are looking for a dynamic person with administrative experience to provide maternity cover.
To assist with the day to day running of the office.
To be responsible for:
- Being a point of contact to boat owners, tenants, contractors and general visitors to the boatyard and future holiday let customers.
- Handling customer queries face to face and both via email and telephone.
- Cash handling and using the card machine.
- Order the necessary stock for the Chandlery and price and code on arrival.
- Assist with monthly invoicing.
- Sending monthly statements to customers with a balance on their account.
- Ensure cranage paperwork i.e. crane sheets, yard tags and invoices are completed.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND PREFERRED SKILLS
- The ability to work under your own initiative but also as part of the team.
- Customer service and customer facing experience.
- Good IT and verbal/written communication skills.
- Organised and methodical with office administration experience.
- Work to deadlines.
- Able to liaise with customers and suppliers.
- Maths and English.
- Holiday letting experience* desirable.
Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with the possibility of Saturdays
9 Months maternity cover
Full time- temporary
Salary dependent on experience
20 days annual holiday + bank holidays
