GT Couriers Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Transport Operations Administrator /Assistant to join our team based in Derby.
Transport Office experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided,
We are looking for a candidate who is computer literate and has a good telephone manner, calm under pressure, who can assist and support traffic planners with the general duties which will include.
· Working in a fast paced environment
· Answering customer emails and phone calls
· Inputting transport booking onto office system
· Transferring data between transport platforms
· Answering phones dealing with driver issue
· Relaying information to drivers and subcontractors
· Dealing with customer issues and queries
· Giving accurate eta's of deliveries
· General customer service
The role will develop as experience and operational knowledge grows.
- Transport essential.
- DBS checks will also be carried out.
- Job Type: Full-time position.
- Salary from £21,000 - £23,000 PA.
- Schedule : Monday to Friday (09.00 - 18.00hrs).
- 45 hours per week.
- Some bank holiday working maybe required on rotation.
