About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full and accurate student data, relating to all aspects of the college’s education provision, is recorded in a timely manner. To undertake all activities supporting student and programme centered administration including the validation and processing of data collected from a variety of sources as well as development, maintenance and coordination of the college curriculum planning process, course file, timetables and registers across all cohorts and curriculum areas. You will provide high quality support, advice and guidance on all aspects of student data, courses, curriculum planning, funding, compliance and timetabling to college staff. The successful candidate will be based at Beverley, and there may be occasional travel to sites at Scarborough, Beverley and Bridlington.
About the person
The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of funding body regulations and our internal systems such as ProSolution. Good organisation and time management skills are essential for this role to ensure deadlines are met. A keen eye for attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring that student course and timetable data is compliant with the college’s internal processes and procedures and requirements of external organisations. You must have the ability to multi task and be flexible at different times of the year.
You must also have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in written form
- Ability to interpret awarding body regulations
- Able to work methodically with attention to detail
- Able to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Respects confidential nature of work and maintains confidentiality
- A positive attitude to change
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment with a flexible proactive approach
- Ability to analyse and assimilate information quickly
- Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
