Hire Administrator
Job Type: Full – Time Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary Scale: £23,000 - £27,000 per annum
Location: Essex, Tolleshunt Major
Our client is an award-winning construction supply company who provide first class service and high-quality equipment to companies across the UK and Ireland. They are looking for a self-driven & diligent Hire Administrator to cover all aspects of the companies finance function.
Role Description:
The Hire Adminstrator will collaborate closely Office Manager to manage all aspects of the companies finance function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general administration office duties.
This position is best suited for a commercially minded individual looking to advance their career in a fast-paced environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Efficiently manage the hire process for construction equipment
· Accounts Payable with processing of invoices on Connect IT.
· Dealing with customer queries.
· General support duties of the Office Manager.
· Check and approve supplier invoices.
· Monitoring of employee hours and submission to the payroll department on a timely basis.
· Provide support to the finance department where required.
Key Skills & Experience:
· Administrator experience (in a construction related industry would be ideal but not necessary).
· Structured & organised approach to work.
· Excellent communicator and team player.
· Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
· Proficient with Office 365 applications including excel.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced role and meeting strict deadlines.
