Job description
We are a Tour Operator and are looking for an Administrator to work within our small, friendly team. Since the pandemic we have moved to a fully remote working system, so you will be working from home for this role. However you must be based in Tonbridge, or very close by, as training needs to be done in person over several weeks. As an Administrator you will be central to the smooth running of the day to day administration. If you thrive under pressure and enjoy working logically, with an eye for detail, then this role is for you. The role can be full time or would possibly suit someone who requires some flexibility to manage child care or similar.
Key responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls – directing clients to the relevant staff member, assisting queries when possible.
- Loading data into the travel system to assist the sales staff as and when required.
- Help the sales staff to complete bookings taken by them - booking and confirming the holiday components (hotels, car hire, flights, tours, etc)
- Organise the documentation for clients holidays, in an organised timely manner – including vouchers, itineraries and driving directions.
- Providing support to other business functions as required
- Any reasonable support tasks required by the company
The successful candidate must have:
- GCSE Maths and English A-C grade.
- Live in Tonbridge, or very close by, for ease of ongoing training and support.
- Great written and oral communication skills.
- An enthusiastic attitude and a desire to learn.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- The right to work/reside in the UK.
- Language requirements: English (fluent)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
- Knowledge of Canada and/or USA would be an advantage
Package Salary: £25K pro rata plus potental bonus.
