Job description
To manage and provide Quality administration support for the Quality department by assisting the Quality team in the daily activities ensuring that products and processes are maintained in line with business and customer requirements.
Serve as a team member to provide Quality expertise to continuous improvement teams and manufacturing support.
This role has the scope for multiple opportunities within the quality team and welcomes candidates looking for development and future progression.
Principle Accountabilities:
· Improve / develop all aspects of the Quality function in pursuit of the departmental aims and objectives (KPI’s).
· Support the Quality systems Engineer with maintenance and update of Q-Pulse (Quality Management System)
· Raise purchase requisitions where necessary.
· Support Quality engineering in the facilitation of the calibration process.
· Compile FAIR (First Article Inspection reports) and associated documents.
· Electronically archive all documentation.
· Support the creation of weekly and monthly KPI reports.
· Create concessions based on Engineers findings.
Essential experience / qualifications:
· Willingness to work under own initiative.
· Excellent Attention to details.
· General IT skills Microsoft packages – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Desirable experience / qualifications
· Previous experience of an administrative role and/or customer facing role.
Personal Skills / Abilities
· Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a team.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this can be a customer faced role.
· Ability to compose clear and concise documentation.
· Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a simple and concise manner.
· Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines consistently.
· Flexible and responsive to the demands of the role.
