PAYE NB: This role is based in Croydon.
An Administrative Assistant is required to provide a comprehensive, efficient, and effective administrative support service to Eric Patrick (EP) Care Ltd, ensuring duties are carried out in line with the EP Care’s policies and procedures and performance standards. To deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, striving to continuously improve service delivery.
Main Accountabilities:
- To provide comprehensive support as required, drafting correspondence, photocopying, taking minutes etc. to ensure the effective and smooth running of the relevant areas as required.
- To provide efficient and effective administrative services in accordance with legislation, company policies, and good practice. Applying policies and making practical decisions so that immediate and mid-term objectives are met.
- Under direction develop, implement and improve office policies and procedures.
- Effective diary/calendar management for senior staff, organising meetings etc.
- Develop and maintain appropriate filing systems, for processing and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Upkeep of the staff database, recording staff absence and other staff administrative duties as required.
- Answering and responding to telephone calls/email correspondence as necessary. Welcoming stakeholders/guests as appropriate and where necessary facilitating their transport and hospitality needs.
- Create and maintain effective working relationships with all client groups.
- Make detailed checks to ensure accuracy of information and act responsibly when updating and sharing information ensuring compliance with the requirements of GDPR.
- Liaise with all client groups and external parties (contractors and consultants) to ensure continuity of services.

- Qualifications: Educated to GCSE level, A to C in English and Maths or equivalent
- Experience:
- Proven track record of providing an excellent administrative service to senior level staff
- Proven track record of effectively managing admin data bases
- Demonstrable experience of working flexibly to tight deadlines
- Knowledge:
- Knowledge and understanding of Basic Office standards and principles
- Knowledge and interest in databases and information gathering systems
- Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to show initiative and problem solve in an effective manner
- Ability to maintain data systems
- Ability to interpret numerical and statistical information
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Highly developed attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- ICT Skills: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
