Job description
Support the Sky Mining Company team with administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on the creation of the world’s most sustainable diamonds. Undertake common office duties and maintain a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone.
Take responsibility for the fulfilment of customer orders, securely packaging SkyDiamonds and ensuring that they are received by customers in a manner that delights.
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing the highest levels of customer service expected from people who are seeking premium product.
Responsibilities
- Manages the reception area and welcomes visitors.
- Prepares and organises documentation, including drafting, scanning, copying and filing.
- Arranges meetings, including scheduling of attendees and resources, creating agendas and circulating minutes.
- Communicates with relevant agencies to produce travel itineraries and arrange company events.
- Manages incoming and outgoing post.
- Maintains stock lists of finished products, WIP and consumables.
- Packages orders and fulfils customer requirements.
Location
The role will be based at Unit 2 Q-Park, Bath Road, South Woodchester, Nr Stroud, GL5 5HT. Occasional travel to Head office may also be required. Should the need arise to change your working location, you would be expected to move to an alternative site within reasonable commuting distance.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes.
- Attention to detail.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Capable of prioritising tasks and expressing sound judgement of when to escalate issues.
- Comfortable with multi-tasking.

We make diamonds from the sky to protect the earth and we are on a mission to see the end of diamond mining forever.
Now that we can mine the sky, we no longer need to mine the earth and every Skydiamond bought, avoids the huge environmental impacts from diamond mining. We need to stop extracting from Mother Earth and instead help to let her thrive.
Skydiamond have launched jewellery collaborations with Stephen Webster and Gucci Vault, have an e-commerce jewellery range and work with model / activist Lily Cole.
