Job description
An opportunity has arisen at EKHUFT for the position of an Administrative Assistant Healthcare Scientist to support the secretarial section of the cellular pathology service within east Kent. Cellular pathology is based at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, providing a wide range of cellular diagnostics in a team based environment, in both histopathology and cytopathology and is reliant on its accurate and efficient admin team for the delivery of diagnostic reports to requesting clinicians to directly impact the patients' treatment journey.
The successful candidate will be organised and be capable of demonstrating good time-management skills and basic IT skills are essential. An understanding of scientific principals and the importance of laboratory protocol would be beneficial.
We are a UKAS accredited medical laboratory against ISO: 15189:2012, that holds an HTA Licence and are an IBMS training laboratory.
