We have an exciting opportunity for a fulltime Marketing Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! For this role you be required to support the Marketing Team to deliver communications and marketing activities across a number of channels, and to support the delivery of professional reception services.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications
- Assist with the design of promotional materials and updating existing documents.
- Research stories and draft student case studies.
- Create engaging videos for social media
- Create content for social media, and assist with operating social media accounts, including planning, analytics and reporting on engagement.
- Assist and support with the creation of promotional videos.
- Assist with updates on the Derwen College website.
- Support with delivery and marketing of open days. fundraising events, and students events as required.
- Assist with media monitoring
Reception
- Provide support for reception when required.
- Greet visitors and direct them accordingly.
- Operate the main switchboard, answering, screening and forwarding calls.
- Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
- Maintain campus security by following safety procedures and controlling access beyond reception.
- Keeping the reception area clear and tidy.
- Performing other clerical duties as requested.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Working knowledge of design process using Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, including algorithms
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- An approachable and friendly manner.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to meet the needs of the team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ambitious self-starter with a willingness to learn and tackle new projects.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
Desirable:
- Photography and video skills.
For this role you will be required to work Monday to Friday; offering a salary range of £20,750.00- £22,500.00 depending on experience, qualifications and successful probation period.
