Location: Deafway Brockholes Brow Preston PR1 5BB
Salary:
- £20735.00
- £11.00 per hour
Contracted hours:
- 36.25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
- 45 minutes lunch break
At Deafway we provide residential care and support services to Deaf people with a range of additional needs. At the heart of all of our work is an understanding of and respect for British Sign Language and Deaf culture. We are a small administration team of 5 and provide administration and HR support to other departments on our site.
- Has experience of working in a reception environment answering phones and greeting visitors in reception.
- Has experience with typing up meeting minutes, reports, letters and if you also have experience of audio typing this would be an advantage.
- Has broad knowledge of administration tasks.
- Has experience of digital booking forms.
- Has a bright, cheerful and caring ‘can do’ attitude.
- Able to plan manage and prioritise workloads, demonstrating good time management.
- Has a British Sign Language qualification or a willingness to learn British Sign Language Level 1 and 2 within 18 months.
