Job Summary:
Terrace Paving, a Division of Colas Western Canada Inc. is seeking a motivated & positive individual to fill the full-time role of Administrative Assistant. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for the completion of a variety of tasks at the Terrace Paving office located in Terrace BC.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated when crews are busy out in the field.
- Administration experience in an office setting will be considered an asset but is not essential.
- Preference may be given to candidates who have prior experience working with business software.
Duties/Tasks:
- Data Entry
- Accounts payable
- Inventory tracking
- General administrative tasks
- Office organization
- Assistant Duties for Managers and Supervisors.
Requirements:
- Compliance with the company’s drug and alcohol policy, including pre-employment testing requirements.
- Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Must be an effective communicator and a team player.
