We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our HR team as a trainee administrator. No previous HR experience is necessary. Salary will be based on National Minimum Wage and will be office based in Huddersfield Town Centre.
The successful applicant must have a professional attitude, be smart in appearance, demonstrate good communication (both written and oral) and organisational skills and be willing to learn. A flexible can-do approach is essential, as is the ability to prioritise a busy workload, work on their own initiative, maintain confidentiality and have an attention to detail. A minimum of GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths is essential together with basic keyboard skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office. Previous experience within a customer service role is desirable but not essential.
Duties will include but are not limited to: –
- Updating of the Firm’s HR software system ensuring that this is kept up to date of all relevant information.
- Typing of standard letters, contracts, and other employment documents
- Supporting the team in the onboarding and offboard of staff
- Arranging interviews and pre-employment onboarding screening
- Scanning of documents to our HR System
- Assisting the team in all other HR related administration
