We are currently looking to recruit an Administrator for a development role in our Training & Competency department at our main offices in Altens, Aberdeen. As well as working within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, the successful candidate will enjoy structured training and career development in the field of Training & Competency.
This role is a full-time position working Monday to Friday.
This is an entry level position with CAN, where some office administrative experience would be beneficial though not mandatory. Career progression within the departments would be possible for the right candidate.
Essential
- Standard Grade / National 5 English and Mathematics to Grade C or equivalent / higher.
- Ability to prioritise workloads in order to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to communicate confidently both verbally and in writing to ensure information is conveyed appropriately.
- Highly motivated and organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure documentation is maintained to the highest level in accordance with the company’s quality management system.
- Willingness to learn and develop their skills as part of a team.
Duties Include
- Maintain, input and update the Training & Certifications database and related E-personnel files to ensure the accurate and confidential administration of all personnel details.
- Ensure all records associated with competency are up-to-date on a daily basis.
- Arrange and book a variety of training courses, medicals/survivals, etc.
- Issue purchase orders, joining instructions for all courses arranged.
- Carry out general administration in relation to maintenance to personnel certification etc.
