Sales office assistant with Logistics support

Adele Carr Recruitment are seeking a Sales Office Assistant with Logistics Support to join a large thriving business based in Liverpool. This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling customer inquiries and providing information on prices and lead times.
Processing orders using Sage software.
Maintaining up-to-date records and reports of orders.
Ensuring effective communication of customer requirements
Liaising with various departments, such as Operations, Business Development, Quality Control, Production, Warehouse, Sister Companies, and Agents.
Providing support to the internal and external sales teams in day-to-day office functions.
Placing orders with subcontractors and monitoring progress.
Keeping customers informed about the status of their orders.
Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a timely manner.
Performing basic filing and faxing tasks.
Using Excel to generate various reports.
Assisting with organising dispatches, including booking deliveries, maintaining transport records, producing packing lists, and coordinating with the Warehouse and Accounts departments.
Monitoring stock levels and allocating stock to orders.
Checking paperwork after dispatch.
Requirements:
Proficiency in computer applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
Excellent multitasking abilities with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
Exceptional team player with excellent customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Benefits:
Competitive salary range of 19K-25K, depending on experience.
15 days of holiday plus a 5-day shutdown period and bank holidays.
