As the Livestock Administrator you will be responsible for all administrative requirements involved within the livestock operations, from data entry of sales and purchases, to inventory management of stock movements, and production. Whilst maintaining and reviewing company policies to ensure our compliance with industry best practice and standards.
- Managing all correspondence in relation to livestock operations
- Logging and booking in of livestock accurately.
- Ensuring that farm assurance details are correct.
- Ensuring that all livestock documentation, including passports, movement and license documents are accurate and dealt with accordingly.
- Review and maintain all licenses and permits
- Liaising with suppliers and producers on a regular basis with regards to livestock returns
- Provision of general administration duties.
- Raise queries and payments were necessary.
- A hardworking and dedicate approach to work.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- A polite and courteous manner at all times.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Positive and highly motivated self-starter.
- Strong team player
- Capable of quickly solving problems under pressure.
- High attention to detail.
- Livestock knowledge is desirable but not essential.
