Position Overview:
As the Administrative and Operational Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our real estate projects while upholding our commitment to social responsibility. You will manage administrative tasks, oversee operational efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of our social housing projects.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
1. Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance project efficiency, quality, and compliance with social housing regulations.
2. Oversee day-to-day operations, including procurement, logistics, vendor management, and project timelines.
3. Collaborate with project managers and team leads to optimize resource allocation and project delivery.
Administrative Leadership:
1. Lead and manage administrative staff, including administrative assistants and support personnel.
2. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and mentor team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
3. Ensure that administrative processes are efficient, organized, and aligned with company objectives.
Process Improvement:
1. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
2. Implement best practices and develop standardized procedures to streamline administrative and operational workflows.
Budget Management:
1. Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage budgets for administrative and operational functions.
2. Monitor expenses, track variances, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Compliance and Documentation:
1. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, legal standards, and industry guidelines relevant to social housing projects.
2. Maintain accurate and organized records, including contracts, permits, and project documentation.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
1. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
2. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as local authorities and housing associations, to maintain positive relationships and facilitate project approvals.
Reporting and Analysis:
1. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate project status, operational metrics, and administrative performance to senior management.
2. Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations, administration, or project management.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and priorities.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management and budget management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary: £48,000.00-£59,000.00 per year
