BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR APPRENTICESHIP

- To assist with the set-up of robust administration systems at Head Office.
- In conjunction with the Service Managers and Administration team to ensure that the services administrative functions run effectively and efficiently.
Future Prospects
- There is a good chance that there will be a full-time vacancy at the end of the placement, however this will be determined on how much the business progresses throughout the year.

The Position
We would expect the chosen administrator to assist in the day to day functions, tracking and meetings such as data recording and minute taking, furthermore to sit in on strategic meetings to help develop the company.
Key Responsibilities;
- To support with new employee induction and recruitment processes such as DBS checks, reference checks and contract send out.
- To maintain personnel records in line with company policy.
- To maintain client/tenant files and ensure that support plans and risk assessments are maintained in line with policy and that support staff are completing on time and to a high standard. This will be in conjunction with the Service Manager and Deputy Manager.
- To respond to email and telephone requests as they arise.
- To assist with logging of employee attendance, annual leave and sickness.
- To minute service meetings, complete action plans and disseminate them amongst the team.
- To attend, coordinate and minute (note take) weekly service risk review meetings in each business.
- To attend and assist in coordination and minute monthly business governance (ICG) meetings and to support with data collation in the compilation of the governance meeting pack.
- In conjunction with Service Managers maintain all company policies and procedures to ensure they are reviewed and kept up-to-date.
- To attend, coordinate and minute bi-monthly Service Manager Forums and to circulate lesson learnt newsletters and staff communications.
- To support businesses in the recruitment of new staff members to include, booking interviews, support with posting adverts, shortlisting and undertaking pre and post-employment checks, DBS, references, I.D. and right to work.
- Coordination and oversight of annual staff surveys and carer surveys. Collation and production of outcome analysis for dissemination to all stakeholders.

Desired qualifications
- Apprentices are required to have GCSE grades A*-C/9-4 in maths & English
Training to be provided
- Level 3 in Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard

This Apprenticeship will involve:
- Off the job training
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
