Your Role
Due to continued growth within the Leonardo Helicopters contract we have a vacancy for a Administration Assistant based at the Houndstone Spares / R&O Support, Yeovil. Reporting to the Administration Manager. The administration assistant will provide comprehensive and efficient support to the management and operation teams, whilst also providing a communication and administration link between operations and other K+N functions.Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for MOD 650 register and comply with MOD requirement for audit purposes.
- Organise and schedule appointments
- Plan meeting and take detailed minutes
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain existing filing systems
- Order office stationery and supplies
- Book travel arrangements
- Maintain and improve the production process and associated administrative systems
- Process purchase orders onto external suppliers liaise with procurement for solutions and assist with any problems or enquiries relating to purchasing
- Maintaining internal databases / spreadsheet updates
- Provide cost analysis to the customer by calculating labour and material costs
Your Skills and Experiences
- Applicants should be flexible and willing to learn with a positive outlook toward the working environment
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office assistant
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate a practical knowledge of computers
- Demonstrate good communication skills between team and management
- Possess excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Good housekeeping skills
