At HMP Leicester we provide a fully integrated healthcare service, delivering care to offenders and individuals on remand that is equivalent to that in the community
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our administration team
This is an exciting time to be part of the Offender Health Team.
You will provide comprehensive secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Assistant Practice Manager, Head of Offender Health, GPs, Nurses and other members of the healthcare team .
Ensuring provision of work is to a high standard of accuracy and presentation, often working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
You will be Inputting accurate data onto SystmOne ensuring timely and accurate reports are provided to the Assistant Practice Manager and Head of Offender Health.
Also supporting the clinical team in the organising and facilitation of clinics and diaries, using SystmOne rota types and ledgers.

Applicants for this post should have GCSE Maths and English A – C or equivalent and RSA IlI Typing/word processing or equivalent
You will need to have good verbal/written communication skills, an excellent telephone manner and be able to take minutes for a variety of meetings.
Experience of working in an office environment, with a good knowledge of IT Systems and a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Ideally you will have experience of working in health or health related environment / administration role, processing referrals, managing waiting lists and clinical caseloads.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and work as part of a team, with the ability to prioritise own work load
Good understanding of confidentiality is essential and ideally you will have experience of data collection and analysis
