Administration Assistant - 37.5 hours
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a role within the Specialised Surgery Directorate.
You will play a crucial role within the busy Skin secretarial team, supporting the team with a variety of office duties.

The role will be heavily telephone based and be the main point of contact for our patients calling the department.

- The post holder's main responsibility will be to answer patient queries and helping patients over the phone.
- Communicate with patients on the telephone, to provide information relating to appointments and provide re-assurance to patients who may be awaiting results.
- To check and confirm the patient's identity when contacting patients or imparting any information.
- To provide clerical support to the Skin Team across both sites and the admin team in booking appointments.
- To use Microsoft office package and Hospital patient management computer systems.
- To ensure the administration relating to clinics is prepared in a timely manner.
- To work effectively as a member of the admin and clerical team.
- Work to a high standard of accuracy in admin duties.
- To be flexible in providing cover to the Skin Unit reception during leave within the team.
- To maintain confidentiality on all information obtained during the course of work.
