The tissue viability teams are central to the trust’s commitment to reduce patient harm. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic, individual to work within the tissue viability team team to undertake a range of administration duties to support the patient safety agenda.
The Post Holder will be required to provide a comprehensive and effective administrative service to;
Support the smooth and efficient running of the Tissue Viability Team, including arranging ward and community-based patient visits and supporting the Tissue Viability coordinator to plan the diary.
Communicate effectively and courteously with a range of internal/external personnel.
Be responsible for filtering team telephone calls and actioning calls when possible while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Be responsible for communicating with service users/patients calmly and sympathetically.
To input data regarding patients.
Manage the diary of training, including booking venues and sharing details across the organisation.
Conduct simple audits and maintain a register of team activities.
Contribute to and enhance the communication and relationships within the multi-disciplinary team.
