Location - Peterborough
Full Time (37.5hrs)
Salary Up to £24,000 pa (depending on experience and skills) + Benefits

The successful candidate should have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite and web based reporting systems is essential. You will be a robust individual who can meet tight deadlines; you will be methodical in your approach to work, highly organised and be professionally and commercially astute and aware of Information Governance requirements. Duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Business Administrator Manager, the post holder will work to effectively specified target dates on a variety of tasks that include;
  • Coordination of the Involvement of Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) in Patient Pathways. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Ensure regular MDT meetings are conducted for all applicable specialities
    • Implement and monitor Terms of References for all MDTs
    • Implement and maintain a local Standard Operating Procedure for Fitzwilliam & Boston West Hospital MDTs
    • Support MDTs in gaining access to the appropriate documentation and facilities required for the MDT process
    • Maintain records of all MDT meeting minutes and ensure patient specific pathway actions are completed
    • Undertake regular audits of the MDT process to ensure compliance to MDT Policy
  • Lead support in the delivery of clinical and non-clinical audits, where required, to achieve compliance in performing the respective audit within the respective deadline; completion of audits and support in action setting to drive meaningful changes in practice
  • Monitoring of adherence to achieving Best Practice Tariff payments for the NHS Contract
  • Coordination of data upload to the British Spine Registry (BSR)
  • Dissemination and coordination of responses to Healthcare alerts received via the Central Alert System
  • Report writing
  • Data analysis
  • Maintaining data spreadsheets
  • Communicating with internal & external stakeholders
  • Responding to users of the service in writing
  • Monitoring Key performance indicators
It is essential that applicants have:
  • Excellent patient focused communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to manage own caseload and work with minimum supervision
  • A passion for delivering an excellent service
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in an administrator role
It is Desirable that applicants have:
  • Post graduate degree
  • Experience in healthcare
