The role:
We are looking for an Administration Assistant to provide general administrative support to our Strategic Projects & Partnerships (SPP) Division and report to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Editor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy and fast-paced environment.
This is a fixed term 10 month contract (more or less)
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous experience with processing credit card statements
- Previous experience with assisting with catering requests
- Previous experience with co-ordinating travel requests
- Previous experience with arranging Kudoboards and gifts for special occasions
- Previous experience with scheduling and organising meetings, both virtual and in-person
- Previous experience with spreadsheets and other systems (e.g. Monday.com boards) are accurate and up-to-date
- Previous experience liaising with other departments internally (e.g. Finance) to ensure workflows and processes are followed
Requirements:
- Experience of providing administrative support to a large team with multiple stakeholders
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders
- Excellent command of MS Suite & Google Suite, and open to new systems
- Supportive and collaborative team member
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion Excellent English language communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solutions oriented, proactive, positive approach to work
- Pays close attention to detail
