Job description

Administration Assistant - Subscriptions Sales Administrator

Who We Are
We are an innovative, growing software development company based in beautiful, 250-year-old converted barn offices in Thelwall. Our success is based on innovative technology, high standards and a vibrant mix of talent. We work hard, but we also have lots of fun with summer and Christmas parties, running club and go-karting, escape rooms, pub quizzes and badminton. We have lots of spaces to relax and have fun with a game of pool, Xboxes, and a beer fridge!

We strive to make DriveWorks a great place to work, and we’re proud to say that our commitment to our team has been recognised by Investors in People, achieving Bronze accreditation in 2014 and Silver in 2017.

The Role
The Administration Assistant is a key role in the Operations team providing general admin support. In the main you will work closely with our Subscription Manager.

Our office hours are 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week.

If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy dotting the Is and crossing the Ts, it’ll be perfect for you! You’ll be an organised multi-tasker, curious and enthusiastic. As an integral part of our team, your role will be varied and cover areas including:

  • managing customer data
  • raising sales orders
  • creating customer license codes
  • creating quote documents
  • managing customer access to our portal
  • inputting customer data in our CRM system
  • assisting with customer data statistics
  • drafting customer communications
  • analysing and reporting data
  • there will also be other elements of general admin, answering incoming customer calls, manning our reception desk 2 days per week, and helping out with any ad hoc tasks that may arise.

We’re a friendly team and we all muck in when needed, so you’ll get involved in other aspects of the business too like organising events or facilities, there are lots of opportunities to learn and develop! You might also spend some of your week on the reception desk meeting and greeting visitors too.

Who You Are
Experience in a similar role would be useful; we’re looking for a confident administrator who can effectively prioritise with a keen eye for detail.

You’ll be enthusiastic, curious, have a passion for learning and be a team player and a strong communicator who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and to share your ideas.

Systems
The role will involve using Microsoft Excel to input, analyse and report on data; so you’ll need to be confident with VLOOKUP, formulae and pivot tables.

We also use Microsoft CRM and Sage 50 Accounts, experience using them would be handy but not essential as we will provide full training.

What we can offer you:

  • A warm, welcoming, friendly team
  • Private medical insurance
  • Comprehensive wellbeing programme
  • Excellent training and development opportunities
  • Enhanced holidays (31 days) and pension
  • Free fresh fruit, refreshments, and coffee machine
  • Team bonding and social events
  • Picturesque setting on natures doorstep with plenty of free parking

Our people are our greatest asset, we are committed to helping everyone develop and succeed. Everyone at DriveWorks has a personal development plan and we encourage you to share your ideas.

We get to know our team and want to know what’s important to you. We listen so we can improve work/life balance, our offices, our software, and the way we do things.
