At Cardiff and Vale University Health Board - Temporary Staffing Department, we are looking for a dynamic and versatile Administration Assistant to join our team.
The function of this role is to support the UHB’s Clinical Boards in the provision of temporary staff; with duties to include shift booking, data processing, dealing with invoices and recruitment.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.30am to 16.30pm, however once suitably trained, there will be a requirement for weekend and Bank holiday work (08.30am to 16.30pm). This will be on a rota basis.

Previous experience in a shift booking/recruitment role would be an advantage, however full training will be given.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
To co-ordinate computerised shift booking using Rosterpro Temporary Staffing Bank System to fill shift cover requests from wards and departments within the Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board (UHB)
To enable timely and accurate payment of bank nursing and non-nursing shifts and agency invoices through verification of bank nurses’ timesheets, non-nursing timesheets and nursing agency invoices and Rosterpro shift Verification to meet agreed deadlines for payment and performance targets
To provide administration support throughout the recruitment and training process of bank staff
To deal with any postal, telephone or electronic enquiries or details involving Temporary Staffing recruitment, training, processing, booking or payment of bank staff
Participate in a rota to work Saturdays, Sundays (and Bank holidays if required) to provide an out of hours service.
