Band 2 Patient Admin Clerk (predominantly in Outpatient Reception ) We have an exciting role within the Outpatient Department at Birmingham Women's Hospital. You will be working within a conscientious, hard working team, who strive to ensure the patients are arrived and departed into clinics and leave their appointment with their next appointment. Please note that unfortunately this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. To be able to communicate effectively with patients, parents and all visitors. To welcome, meet and greet in professional, courteous manner. To deal with all enquiries in a helpful and sensitive manner. To advise patients of delays when known. To be able to recognise and help diffuse difficult situations whilst retaining composure and willingness to assist. To communicate with staff at all levels on issues within your area. To implement business Continuity plans when the computerised systems are unavailable and assist in data entry following system outage.
