Menzies Distribution are currently recruiting for a Admin Assistant to join our team in Preston.
Monday to Friday, 10am until 2pm
Admin Assistant duties:
- Engage all external and internal customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that a good impression is maintained at all times.
- Answering and responding to all incoming calls in a prompt and polite manner.
- Liaising with the management team ensuring the smooth operation of site as a whole.
- Ensure all inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
- Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation.
- Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet needs of the depot.
- Maintain and expand an excellent pro active relationship with existing customers and suppliers.
- Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all aspects of the company’s H & S Policy
Admin Assistant requirements:
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience working within a Warehouse / Transport enviroment
