We are seeking to appoint a reliable, highly organised and motivated Admin Assistant to work within our school team. You will need a friendly disposition, have a flexible approach and be able to work under pressure, have strong proven communication and administration skills.
This role brings together so many aspects of our school environment, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day life of the school by providing a wide range of administrative support to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
You will:-
- Be the main point of contact for visitors to the school..
- Undertake reception duties, answering general telephone and face-to-face enquiries.
- Manage pupil first aid/welfare duties.
- Assist with arrangements for visits from external visitors/stakeholders.
- Provide clerical/administrative support.
- Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems.
- Place and process purchase orders via the finance system.
- Monitor and review the cash management system..
- Collate and manage correspondence for trips.
- Manage the administration of after school clubs.
- Update pupil and parent Information on to the Management Information System.
- Receive and record income relating to pupil dinners.
- Typing and distribution of correspondence to various stakeholders.
- Manage the school website by uploading any correspondence for
parents/carers and updating the school calender etc.
- Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages, eg Word, Excel, MIS and
finance/purchase order system.
- Maintain stock and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required.
