Job description
A small and friendly theatre company looking for a freelance self-starter with experience of admin work and small scale marketing. Knowledge of Braunston, Northamptonshire, and surrounding towns and villages from living/working locally essential. The role is a fixed term contract for a few hours a week over 9 months (not August). Home working with access to internet and own PC/laptop equipment essential.
The aim of the role is to encourage the local community to take part in all aspects of the project , to enable ticket sales to all performances, and to liaise with venues and other contractors on admin matters. Full description of tasks and schedules will be provided. The role holder will need a working knowledge of social media. Previous experience of type of role from either paid or voluntary work. Interest in theatre performance and production an advantage but not essential. Reasonable adjustments will be made for the successful candidate. Total contract sum £2,900, about 20-24 hours per month to be worked a few hours per week from mid/end February to mid-November (not August). Role holder responsible for any tax and NI (national insurance) arising from this contract. Complimentary tickets to all productions provided.
