Band 3, Admin and Clerical Department Supervisor (Cardiac Investigations Service)
We are seeking to appoint a candidate who is friendly, pro-active, has a strong work ethic, great customer service skills and strong organisational skills. The post is mainly based at Pinderfields Hospital but cross site working at the other Trust sites at Dewsbury and Pontefract is required as part of the role.
The post involves responsibility for supervision of admin/ reception staff and managing the cardiac investigations booking system, diagnostic waits and liaising with technical/ clinical staff to ensure efficient day to day running of the service.
The Cardio-respiratory Department is a busy area, receiving patients for a number of different investigations and the admin team play an important part in co-ordinating and supporting both in-patient and out-patient care.
You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way whilst being able to multi-task and deal with frequent interruptions. A professional manner, effective communication and customer care skills are key attributes for candidates.
Applicants should have good computer and keyboard skills and previous experience in administration, reception and clerical duties. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable and use/ knowledge of IT databases such as E-CAMIS (PAS) would also be beneficial, though full training will be given on IT electronic systems.
This is a full-time post working 37.5 hours per week.
