About the role:
The Ad Sales & Brand Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying a target list of relevant brands, secure new business, retain key spenders & ultimately increase brand count and video revenue across Moonbugs YT channels. You will continue to build awareness with relevant brands and clients whilst hitting your revenue targets. The role reports into the Director of EMEA.
What will you be doing:
- Forecasting, reporting and delivery of Moonbug’s YT video revenue.
- Development of client relationships to ensure ongoing business running both in the UK and Internationally
- You will use Moonbugs premium and exclusive catalogue of original content to create key partners for all the clients within your remit.
- You’ll be a source of knowledge and inspiration to agency partners & brand direct – pushing the boundaries ensuring you educate them on co-viewing behaviour across all platforms and that Moonbug continues to be perceived as a leader in this space.
- Thinking strategically about opportunities for revenue growth, and will work with internal teams at Moonbug to achieve these
- Work towards (and pushing to exceed) significant targets in Programmatic spend
- Pitch effectively to all levels at agencies and clients who may be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the space effectively in an accessible way
- Understanding of client challenges and able to explain how Moonbug’s scale & original content can be advantageous and successful
- Work closely with the AdOps team to ensure smooth delivery of all campaigns once booked with a view to delivering incremental revenue
- Lead by example to give motivation to the more junior team members in the team with a focus on their achievement of their respective KPI’s.
Requirements
- 5+ years digital media sales experience handling large revenue portfolios with an emphasis on video
- Extensive knowledge of the video ecosystem
- You will have an outstanding track record in digital sales and a strong established network in London media agencies
- Fantastic lead generation skills, along with the ability to close new business and develop accounts to maximum potential
- Clear demonstrable knowledge of digital, programmatic buying and emerging media landscapes
- Demonstrated experience in advertiser direct relationships and knowledge on how to navigate complex marketing teams and brand managers
- Experience achieving group goals, you’re not be fazed by targets and metrics - you love smashing your personal goals
- A passion to create a career in one of the most exciting and fastest growing owned content companies focusing on young families & key shoppers
- Ability to spot opportunities, set up meetings with and present to key agency personnel (typically planners, strategists, account directors, group heads) and clients (brand manager, marketing manager etc)
- Leads collaboratively, building a strong network of internal stakeholder relationships, sharing knowledge and ensuring convergence of team/specialists
- A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills, comfortable with interaction with senior Trading Directors and Heads of Digital
