An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our well-established client based in the Todmorden area, soon to relocate to Rochdale.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for account reconciliation, allocation of payments, credit management of company debtors and credit checks/credit control. This is a temporary to permanent vacancy, 100% office based and is to start immediately upon successful interview.
Your responsibilities as an Accounts Receivable Clerk will include but not be limited to:
- Process credit and debit notes
- Bank account reconciliations
- Overall responsibility for accounts receivable and credit management
- Assist the financial controller with duties such as daily invoicing and sales reports, along with advising of outstanding debtors
- Taking credit card payments via the accounting system
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Any other duties required
Accounts Receivable Clerk Working Hours:
37 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday – 8:30am to 5pm
- Friday – 8am to 4pm
Rate of Pay: £13 - £13.51 per hour DOE (£25,000 to £26,000 per annum)
Finance Assistant skills and experiences required for the role:
- Experience within an accounting environment 2+ Years
- AAT Qualified or part qualified
- High standard of computer literacy including Excel
- Ability to work to deadlines, and to organise time and tasks effectively
