GLOBAL ACCOUNTS RECEIVEABLE CASH MANAGEMENT MANAGER

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


Working out of our London offices in Farringdon, on a hybrid working pattern you’ll be a key member of the international Finance team and be responsible for overall group receivables and finance customer services.


We are looking for a technically strong Global AR & Cash Management Manager to join our Finance team. The key areas of responsibility include AR monitoring & reporting, Global AR & Invoicing harmonisation, Global Cash Management, Customer service Online Digital Billing processes. Working closely with key external customers and internal colleagues within the Sales, Copyright, Product and Technology teams.


Working closely with and line managing the Finance Customer Service and Credit Controller.


THE ROLE


Process and Reporting:

  • Reporting into SVP, Finance and Accounting, work within an established global AR function and standard global AR invoicing and reporting
  • Work towards monthly global targets agreed with the SVP, Finance & Accounting to reduce the debtor balance and debtor days AR outstanding
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, particularly in relation to reducing debtor days and creating more efficient accounts receivable/cash collection processes
  • Review all activity including aged debt, payment of collectable accounts, uncollectable accounts, and refunds
  • Responsible for Global customer billing and monitoring the order-to-cash systems and process
  • Liaise with the sales team to implement working AR practices from the point of sale in conjunction with customer CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Work closely with IT and key business owners to drive key system initiatives and improvements
  • Oversee global cash management processes and monitor cash activity across all the Audio Network Group
  • Oversee an international AR team and provide support and training, leadership and help set their performance targets and complete bi-annual performance reviews.


Customer care


  • Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • Manage communication with sales teams in relation to Group receivables, including:
    • Working with relevant parties to ensure resolution and payment of balances within agreed timescales, including issues preventing payment of old or disputed items
    • Providing root cause analysis to reduce the volume of outstanding debt
  • Establish credit limits and process for preventing downloads for bad payers
  • Complete new customer and existing customer credit risk assessment to determine appropriate credit terms and to reduce credit risk related to potential delinquent customers
  • Receive inbound billing-related customer queries and resolve any issues as they arise
  • Communicate with customers with overdue invoices on their account by phone and email. Build relationships to manage debt effectively and streamline processes
  • Manage online customer payments and refunds, including eCommerce payment providers and be the main contract person for the various eCommerce platforms and payment methods.
  • Manage and improve systems and processes for online billing and revenue reconciliation processes, including bundle deals, and subscription billing management

SPECIAL SKILLS


Knowledge/ Experience/ Qualifications:

  • More than five years of experience with a global company in AR, Billing, Cash Management, and eCommerce finance operations
  • Experience in working with Sales and Customer service teams
  • Working knowledge in SAP, Salesforce and Credit Safe is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
