Job description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our busy automotive client based in Newbury. This is a temporary contract position.

Schedule:

  • 08:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Thursday
  • 08:00am to 13:00pm Friday

Pay:

  • Circa £34,000 per annum

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing Accounts Receivable data with main focus of overdue payments.
  • Define appropriate actions to collect debt, especially historic debt.
  • Assess existing processes and make improvement suggestions.
  • Define and improve processes for handling of debt notes. credit notes and unallocated cash.
  • Define, improve and manage relevant AR KPI's.
  • Define daily actions, set daily and weekly targets for credit controllers and manage daily progress.
  • Lead weekly meetings with AR team including reporting to Management.
  • Cover and support daily cash postings when required.
  • Clarification and resolution of non-approved debit notes in collaboration with the respective departments.
  • Support team with clearing of unallocated cash.
  • Support team with gaining copies of remits and other documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Excel and other Microsoft Software.
  • Proven experience working in Accounts Receivable for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Knowledge of D365 is beneficial.
  • Supervisory experience with a track record of reducing debts.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to work.
