Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the three AP functions within the Criterion portfolio.


The role is 100% office based


Responsibilities include:


  • Invoice Processing: Reviewing and checking the AP team are processing invoices received from vendors, ensuring accuracy, receipt of proper documentation and matching these to purchase orders.
  • Payment Processing: Coordinating and executing payments to vendors in a timely manner while adhering to payment terms and company policies.
  • Payment Allocation: Ensure payments on account are tracked and processed appropriately.
  • Internal Controls: Implementing and enforcing internal controls to prevent fraudulent or unauthorised payments and to maintain data accuracy.
  • Team Management: Supervising and leading the accounts payable team, including assigning tasks, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the accounts payable process, such as implementing portfolio wide use of the finance system workflows.
  • Financial Reporting: Generating reports and providing insights to the finance department regarding the company's outstanding liabilities, cash flow, and other relevant financial metrics.
  • Audits: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information related to accounts payable.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any payment-related issues.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
  • Experience working in hospitality and construction desirable.
