Join our Financial Services team as a Accounts Payable Officer

The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Accounts Payable Officer in Camden London.
Location: Remote role, required to go to the office once a month based in Camden, London.
Salary: £27000 per annum
Contract: 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team to ensure timely and accurate registering of invoices via to P2P System.
- Responding to internal and external customer queries in a timely manner.
- Producing supplier payments and reconciliations.
- Registering and supporting the maintenance, completion, and payment of employee expense claims.
- Having responsibility for credit card and pre-payment card processes.
- Providing weekly and monthly reporting as required.
- Providing excellent customer service to our suppliers and internal customers
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in an Accounts Payable Team
- Experience of working collaboratively across teams
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good excel skills – Intermediate
- Previous experience of nominal ledger reconciliations
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks
- The ability to work to deadlines with accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Fast accurate inputting skills and the ability to work under pressure
- The ability to problem solve and use knowledge to influence decisions
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a heavy workload
- Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers maintaining a high level of customer service
- Experience of reconciling statements and control accounts
- Housing association sector experience
Experience in the use of P2P systems would be desirable.
