An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a South London based, luxury retailer. You will be joining at an exciting time as they have created a new role due to the growth they have recently received. This is a hybrid role based in South London with the expectations of 3 days per week in the office. This role has the potential to go permanent.
Details of the role:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be working alongside a team of 20 in finance in their South London office.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with opening new vendors
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Setting up the purchase order for new vendors
- Assist with requesting and chasing new suppliers’ bank details
- Ensure invoices are sent out to the business for approval
- Adhoc finance duties as required
Skills required:
The successful candidate will be available on short notice with 1-2 years’ experience in AP. SAP experience is desirable but not essential. A studier in either ACCA/CIMA/AAT would be a plus. Softer skills required would include being proactive and having desire to improve processes.
