Job Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team at HCRG Care Group!

You will be responsible for being a point for escalations, support, and training within a small team to ensure that the team are able to work efficiently and effectively as well as completing payment runs and uploads as required.

We are looking for someone with previous accounts payable experience with an ability to guide and support a busy team, in addition to this you will be target driven, passionate for making a change and have excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time permanent role, you will have the opportunity for hybrid working, predominantly at home with occasional travel to our head office in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Main Responsibilities

This role is key to the effectiveness of the group's internal controls, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide training to colleagues when required
  • Being a point for escalations in the team
  • Ensure the team are meeting their agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Process all purchase invoices within sufficient time to enable payment in line with agreed supplier payment terms
  • Perform monthly statement reconciliations for key suppliers, projects and ad-hoc tasks
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 3 years previous experience in an accounts payable role specifically within a high transactional volume environment
  • Has an interest or previous experience in supporting others with queries, training and general support
  • Is target driven individual who enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet agreed SLA’s
  • Attention to detail ensuring high levels of accuracy
