We're on a journey of exciting expansion, with ambitious plans to establish a new Entrepreneurship Centre and boost our executive education activities. As we continue to evolve, we are now seeking a highly motivated, proactive and customer service focused individual to join our dynamic finance team.
In this pivotal role, you will help to support our diverse operations, spanning three sites - Park End Street, Hythe Bridge Street, and Egrove Park in Kennington. As part of an organisation that anticipates to generate income of £70m, you will play an essential part in shaping our financial future and driving process improvements across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the supplier set-up process and ensure efficient purchasing procedures
- Establish effective relationships across all departments, providing advice and training as required
- Propose and implement process improvements
- Manage purchase orders, receipting for Finance and other areas of the business
- Deputise for the Accounts Payable Manager as necessary
- Ensure supplier invoices are processed correctly and promptly
- Conduct reviews of expense claims and credit card purchases
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
- Provide training to new starters, including departmental managers and faculty
- Ensure action and full reconciliation of recharges from control accounts
- Undertake general office administration tasks and ad hoc duties as required
