Work Designation: This role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of standard office software applications such as Outlook, Imaging, and SharePoint preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient operating office equipment including personal computer, calculator or copier
- General understanding of basic accounting concepts and terminology and the ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers, to provide information and resolve problems
Education & Experience Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two years of related work experience
- One year of job-specific work experience in one or more of the following areas: accounts payable, bookkeeping, or data entry clerk
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews requests for payments, invoices, and other supporting documentation, and compares information against the AP system to complete missing information and ensure request accuracy; calculates and confirms all numerical values and totals both on requesting and supporting documents; ensures that all applicable payment adjustments are included; uses established guidelines and documented procedures to process requests or gives to the appropriate team member for action
- Performs data entry to update system, database and/or spreadsheet information; keys journal vouchers; completes relevant logs, forms, etc., and prepares all supporting documentation required to process each transaction
- Distributes printed checks daily; checks may be mailed or picked up by employees or vendors; matches check copy with appropriate backup documentation for imaging
- Works with other departments and/or performs database or manual file research to respond to customer inquiries within SLA required time; provides and collects information; reviews account activity reports to audit transactions processed and routes errors or questionable transactions identified to the appropriate team member for action
- Maintains effective and accurate electronic or manual filing systems that provide a quick-reference database for transactions and other department activities; logs, stamps, copies, and prepares documents for imaging; maintains an up-to-date procedure manual that provides accurate step-bystep procedures to accomplish all assigned tasks
- Performs other duties as required

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $31,200 to $60,000.
