This is a newly created role within a leading TV Group that makes programmes across multi-genres including sport, entertainment and factual.
Joining a busy and friendly department, this role will assist with the day to day financial administration across a number of labels within the group. This position will help to manage the accounts payable ledger, expenses, credit card, production floats and requires someone who is highly organised.
This is a great role for someone who either at the early stages of their career or someone with experience who enjoys a financial processing role.
You will need to have great communication skills as you will be liaising with lots of colleagues in other departments and be approachable and willing to assist others. This position will see you liaise with both production and support staff so you will need to be able to easily build strong working relationships.

Responsibilities of the role include:
· Assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of the purchase ledger
· Check and upload statements & VAT, passing on for authorisation
· Process expenses on the system, ensuring all information is correct and all required receipts are received
· Assist with payments runs
· Assist with the reconciliation of company credit cards and statements on a monthly basis
· Manage distribution and reconciliation of production floats
· Support members of finance team with ad hoc tasks
· Financial administration duties
Candidate specification:
· Previous experience of working in a finance/accounts department as an accounts assistant or administrator or a genuine interest to build a career in finance
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with colleagues at all levels
· A genuine interest in TV/Sports
· Strong IT skills
· Highly organised, great attention to detail and deadline orientated
· Proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude, able to prioritise
· Good team player but able to work to own initiative
