We are a leading renewable energy company with a large portfolio of clients within the solar and battery sector. Due to our ambitious long term growth plans, we are now looking for an Accounts Assistant. Key Responsibilities:
- · Help prepare monthly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support the finance team in day-to-day transactions, including processing invoices, expenses, and payments.
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card statements.
- Process payroll, which includes CIS ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries.
- Handle VAT returns and other tax-related documentation, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and provide timely financial insights.
- Assist in year-end financial auditing by providing necessary data and documentation.
Qualifications:
- AAT qualification or working towards it (or equivalent financial qualification).
- Prior experience in an accounts or finance role
- Proficiency with accounting software, e.g., Xero
- Strong numerical skills with an eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised, with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

Salary: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
