A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Semi-senior looking to progress their career in the Central London office of a rapidly growing national accountancy firm.
We are looking to recruit a candidate to perform a role of management accounts, accountant and auditor.
The successful candidate should be able to:
- Statutory company accounts preparation on FRS102 and FRS102 Section 1A along with related schedules and control accounts
- Company tax computation and return including capital allowances, losses, refund, S455 etc.
- Prepare management accounts
Prepare management reports for clients to assist in client meetings and show value added from the firm
- Be able to carry out complex bookkeeping work for clients.
Management of client portfolio where you will be 1st point of contact as Accounts Manager
- Supervision of junior staff members and delegation of work to apprentices.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required including practice management tasks
In addition to the above, the candidate require to:
- Be graduate or studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA/ICAS
- Have an experience of working in accountancy practice or accounts department for at least 2 years.
- Have strong communication and client liaison skills
- Be self-driven and able to complete tasks to the tight deadlines
- Experience of IRIS Accounts production, Business Tax and Personal Tax preferred but not essential.
This is a role which will suit somebody who enjoys the variety offered by a general practice firm dealing with the requirements of owner managed business as well as dealing with heavily regulated and listed entities.
It is anticipated that progression to Manager will be achievable as the role develops over time.
The successful applicant will benefit from working alongside the managers/directors, taking responsibility for specific clients as they are delegated.

Salary - £25,000 - £32,000 p.a. plus benefit includes pensions, healthcare & performance related bonus
