Our prestigious Porsche Centre in Aberdeen is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be varied but purchase ledger driven therefore successful candidates need to have purchase ledger experience. Automotive finance experience is highly advantageous.
What you will do
- In absence of FC, ensure sufficient knowledge to be a reliable
- support to management team and manage the rest of the accounts function.
- Pro-actively support FC in all areas of finance function as required.
- Ensure any departmental issues identified are resolved or escalated to FC.
- Participate where required in the preparation of the site payroll submission and sales advisor commission statements for FC review.
- Oversee the sales and purchase ledger function, ensuring FC is aware of any issues.
- Participate in the preparation’s stages of the weekly forecasting and identify any trends or anomalies to aid the FC in finalisation.
- Actively participate in areas of the monthly accounts process as directed by the FC.
- Process Manufacturer Bonus Credit notes.
- Complete VSB reports in agreed timescale and inform FC of any issues identified.
- Accurately complete accounts stats.
What you will need
- Knowledge of Kerridge or similar Automotive software is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Work as a team player and confidently on your own.
